THE CERTAINTY OF GOD’S SUPPLY

And my God
shall supply all your needs
according to His riches in glory
by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

Philippians 4:19 is one of the most practical verses we will ever read in the Bible. This verse clearly and definitively shows the certainty of God’s supply. Everyone has needs in our lives; at times, these needs are beyond our own means. However, that is neither the time to panic, nor the time to give up in defeat. It is at these times that we should draw from God’s unlimited warehouse!

Do you believe God can meet the needs of your finances, or your health? Can God meet the needs of your children, or your family, or your friends? Will God meet the needs of your church? Scripture says you will never face a need that God cannot fulfill. This promise appears over and over again in Scriptures; Psalms 69:33, Psalms 116:6, Hebrews 4:16, and Matthew 6:8 are just a few examples. Every resource of God is available to any child of God who will believe in Him. No one has ever exhausted God’s supply!

As you pray today, thank God for His endless supply, and also thank Him for taking care of all of your needs! If you are not experiencing God’s bountiful supply, then ask God to help you understand that He is ready, willing, and able to shower His supplies upon your needs. Also pray that your life is an example to all those around you of your unwavering belief that God will provide, and thank God for doing what He said He will do! Amen.
